Maui physicians are welcome to join the "PHYSICIANS of MAUI" website. The "Physicians of Maui" website will benefit patients, physicians, clinics and the community of Maui. The site is built upon a database where Maui's physicians can present themselves with texts, photo, contact information, opening hours, links to e-mail and personal website etc. Patients can easily search, find and get in contact with any of the included physicians. The search engine is designed to be as convenient and flexible as possible to fit everybody's needs. For example, patients can search on Physicians name, Clinic name or Area. Patients can also search on Specialty to find the type of doctor one needs. Yet another convenient feature is the possibility to search on Symptom or Disease. Maui residents can take part of the latest information and news from their family doctor and can easily get in contact with any of Maui's specialists. Visitors can easily find and communicate with the doctor they need before, during and even after their Maui visit. There is also a "News/Events" section where physicians and patients can read the latest news and information about events etc. Once logged in, physicians can add their own notes to the "News/Events" section. Other important and useful features are the "Learning Center", "Health Resources" and "Video" sections.
